45 kg gas bottle exchange
Our most common cylinder types are 45 kg exchange bottles, an easy swap out option for your home. You can order new LPG bottles when you need to, and our LPG delivery drivers will swap over your LPG bottles for full bottles.
Refill LPG by hose
Refilling by hose is a good option for high-usage homes, and it’s convenient too. Your LPG deliveries are set up on a schedule, so you don’t have to think about it. Get in touch and we’ll check if refill by hose is available where you live.
Metered LPG
Just like natural gas, our metered network provides piped LPG directly to your property, giving you a constant gas supply. If your home is part of a metered network, there’s no need to reorder LPG. Get in touch to find out more.

What is LPG?
Liquid petroleum gas (LPG) is a convenient, portable energy source that’s easy to transport and store. It’s a versatile fuel commonly used in homes to provide heating, hot water and energy for cooking.
It usually comes in gas cylinders or LPG gas bottles, but you also might have a refillable tank – or you could have metered LPG, which is piped in, much like natural gas.
What is LPG typically used for and why would I use it?
Because we can transport and store LPG, we can offer it as an energy source in areas where piped natural gas isn’t available.
Homes can use it to power heating, cooking and hot water. Businesses can use it to fuel forklift engines and even industrial boilers.
How do I track my delivery?
After we receive and schedule your LPG gas bottle or refill order for delivery, we’ll send you a text message with your unique tracking link. Use the link to see the status of your order, which continuously updates as we progress your delivery.
You can also log in to My Account or the Origin app to see the status of your order on the dashboard.
Is LPG available for new builds?
Yes, you can get LPG gas bottles for new builds in all Australian states and territories.
How do I know if my house has LPG or natural gas?
If your home is on natural gas, you’ll be connected to the gas mains, which pipes gas straight to your property. If your home is on LPG, you’ll typically see exchangeable LPG gas bottles or a large refillable tank.
