Providing tech support to our internet customers
[on-screen text]: We dropped in to visit our customers and optimise their internet
Team member 1: So usually in our role, we don’t get to meet customers face to face. So what we did today was we provided some new hardware to be able to provide further coverage of the wi-fi throughout the property.
Team member 2: So this is an eero 6+ modem. These can work as a mesh device. This looks very modern with Origin Internet. You also get the eero Secure subscription for free, and that means you get to install this little app on your phone that can connect directly to these devices. Seeing Tracey enjoying the internet today, that makes me feel really happy.
Tracey: I’ve had an awesome experience with Origin.

Optimising our customer’s home internet
Customer 1: That’s amazing. Cameron, thank you so much.
[on-screen text]: We spoke with Origin Internet customers in every state and territory of Australia. What are the main problems you’ve had with internet historically?
Customer 2: Problems that I’ve had are just, like, lagging. It’s lagging.
Customer 3: Slow internet.
Customer 1: Cutting out to one end of the house.
Customer 4: You find it hard to connect, or you only get the one bar.
Customer 5: Most often we have to use a mobile network.
Team member 1: So today we determined that the wi-fi was located at the front of the house, which was not giving enough coverage to the back of the house. So what I’ve got here is some brand new routers for you.
Team member 2: They act like a wi-fi boost based on where you are in the house. It’s going to connect to the best one that’s going to give you the best signal. And with Origin Internet, you also get the eero Secure subscription for free. You get to install this little app on your phone that can connect directly to these devices, and you can have control over all the devices at your home.
Customer 6: I think now we’ll be able to have more seamless video calls.
Customer 7: Basically every day of the week, I’m going to zoom for 8 or 9 hours. I need it to work. I need it to work perfectly.
Team member 1: So as a result, today Juanita and her and her family will have greater internet speeds and greater wi-fi coverage.
Team member 2: Seeing Tracey enjoying the internet today, that makes me feel really happy.
Team member 3: She was really appreciative considering that she has a big family.
[on-screen text]: We had one last surprise!
Team member 4: We would like to give you a year’s worth of internet for free on a high speed plan.
Customer 6: That’s awesome. Thank you so much.
Customer 4: It’s going to be a huge difference to my household.
Customer 1: Oh my, I didn’t see that coming. Wow.
